The "I love to travel" post. :o)
The only thing I think I don't like about traveling is the day before I leave on a trip. I always have a ton of things that need to get done that I find I always wait until the very last minute for. :P I'm pretty good about packing all my clothes early, but things like gathering my CDs and MDs that I want to listen to on the plane, my full arsenal of batteries, film, and video tapes usually are packed at the very last minute as well. :P

Speaking of traveling, I also stole this from orion74, irisheyes77, roopunzel, and alligatorandme:

Bold the states you've been to, italicize the ones you've lived in. :)

1) Alabama 2) Alaska 3) Arizona 4) Arkansas 5) California 6) Colorado 7) Connecticut 8) Delaware 9) Florida 10) Georgia 11) Hawaii 12) Idaho 13) Illinois 14) Indiana 15) Iowa 16) Kansas 17) Kentucky 18) Louisiana 19) Maine 20) Maryland 21) Massachusetts 22) Michigan 23) Minnesota 24) Mississippi 25) Missouri 26) Montana 27) Nebraska 28) Nevada 29) New Hampshire 30) New Jersey 31) New Mexico 32) New York 33) North Carolina 34) North Dakota 35) Ohio 36) Oklahoma 37) Oregon 38) Pennsylvania 39) Rhode Island 40) South Carolina 41) South Dakota 42) Tennessee 43) Texas 44) Utah 45) Vermont 46) Virginia 47) Washington 48) West Virginia 49) Wisconsin 50) Wyoming

I guess driving up and down the East Coast with friends, lost and looking for a Denny's has it's advantages. We took a wrong turn looking for a Denny's in Andover, MA and ended up in New Hampshire at 2 in the morning... twice! :P And looking at this list, I think I have to try visiting the middle states more! :)

And since we're talking about traveling, I have a question for everyone. What was the one trip that you enjoyed the most and why? Just curious. :) And yes, I'm procrastinating... :)

Wait... where are you from???

I'm originally from the town over from Andover! LOL (I live in Manhattan now, but grew up in MA.) I grew up in Methuen, then lived in Bradford, which is part of Haverhill, for four years. That's hilarious... my mommy works in Andover!

Lemme guess... you ended up in Salem, NH? Or Plaistow, NH??? I think Andover goes into Salem. All my little neighboring towns... we're all on the border of New Hampshire so its not hard to end up there. HAHA. In fact, it took me all of five to ten minutes from my house to drive to Plaistow from Haverhill. Heh. And ditto when I lived in Methuen to get to Salem. I never thought it weird that I lived on the line of two states until talking to my friend in Texas... it takes her about six hours to get out of her state... I'm like, 'HA, takes me five minutes.' Technically, I grew up in MA *and* NH. :) Ah, gotta love living in tiny states... New England rocks.

Too funny! I'm actually from Hawaii but have spent a lot of time up and down the East Coast with all my of my East Coast friends within the past few years. We were in Andover, MA in July a few years ago and it was gorgeous! I loved the houses and the area was just so peaceful and quaint - I really like MA in general. I'm not too sure which part of New Hampshire we hit, but it was hilarious because all we wanted was to find a Denny's! We were SO hungry, some of us were a little tipsy from alcohol and no sleep - it was a blast! One of the most fun trips I've ever had! :) I love New England! :)

I always loved to travel and I would not know to choose a trip what I enjoyed most but I think I never will forget this one when we missed the ferry. We traveled with the horse and because you only could pull a horse trailer with my dad's car he was so kind to drive the horse to the ferry while Monika and I drove with my car. Unfortunately, we were so late that we missed the ferry. Out of the fact that it was difficult to find a stable for the horse for one night it was impossible to get a hotel room for us because there was a fair. My dad drove back home and Monika and I decided to sleep in the car. That was the worst night I had up to now - cold, we feared to oversleep and the dogs barked every time somebody switched on the light in an apartment so that we moved from one place to the other. The best thing was to get coffee at the ferry the next morning and the vacation was nice, too. :D In fact, afterward we smiled a lot looking back on this night. :)

Wish you a nice time. :) I'll miss you. *Hugs*

Oh man! That sounds terrible! Having to sleep in the car, in the cold with the dogs barking all night long. Poor things! At least you had Lauser there with you to keep you warm. :) I agree with you that sometimes the trips that you remember most aren't the ones that turn out perfectly.

Thanks for the well-wishes. :) I'll miss you all while I'm gone too. :( Talk about being internet deprived! :( Please have a nice weekend! *HUGS*
