Nick, Sydney, and American Idol
Yes, I'm addicted. I can't believe that just a few months ago I didn't even know what the allure of "American Idol" was. I have to admit, I'm not a TV watcher (only "Food Network" here and there and any show Julie Ann is on) but to spend an hour and a half of my precious study time watching "American Idol" tonight was a bit ridiculous! :P I do have my favorites, though I know who will probably make it through. (And let's just say that my hope of winning the AI pool at my office is now very slim)

Sydney has been extra affectionate today. I'm not sure if it's the cold weather, but she's been lying down on our legs, and sitting VERY close to us the whole evening. She's usually okay with affection, but not like she was tonight. Not that I'm complaining or anything. :) If I had my way I'd move to much colder temperatures just so I could have a furry leg warmer every night. ;)

And Nick DeGruccio - I know I keep mentioning him in my journal (he directed Kevin, Misty, and Julie in "Side Show"), but I just adore him. Out of all of Kevin's friends, I think he's just about the warmest person I've had the pleasure of getting to know and he definitely has the biggest heart. I sent him a congratulatory email after seeing his website and his response was warm and gracious and very "Nick" - I completely adore the man! :)

Well, I'm off to study a bit more and snuggle up to the fuzziness that is my doggie. :) Hope you're all having a nice week. :)

Ha ha! It pulllllls you in, sucking the will to do anything else but sit & watch...doesn't it? I totally hear you. I don't watch much tv either except for news every night. Come Idol night tho', git out the way! :D

Yup, that's exactly how I feel! We should start an AI support group of some sort. ;)

I have to know something Sheri...what is the temperature like to be considered cold weather in Hawaii? :)

Haha! Our cold is your summer day I'm sure! :) Hawaii people are SO not used to the cold... When the temperatures hit 60 or below we start taking out the jackets and sweaters! :) We're so weak. ;)

Re: *brrrrrr*
Hey, thanks for adding me! :) I love talking with other theatre lovers - especially ones from Hawaii! :)

And last night it was cold! I think we traded weather with my LA pals who are having a heatwave now! :(

That is so funny! Of course, it's the same here, but the other way around. After a long cold winter, we are often wimpy and turn on our air conditioning the first day it gets "hot" which is like 70 degrees!

AI can get so very addicting. I didn't watch it last night. This season doesn't seem to have the star quality for some reason. I'll wait until the 12 go on and see from there though. :)

This is my first season so I'm enthralled. :) I'm just finding the whole process interesting. And it helps that there are a couple of people from Hawaii in the top 12 :).
