Dim Sum!

I don't know if it was because I'd written about it this morning in my previous post, or if it was because it's been almost a year since I've had Dim Sum of any sort, but the Dim Sum Mark and I had this afternoon at Eastern Garden was especially good. There wasn't really a huge variety - in fact, we saw Mark's favorite (the taro puff) go by inside one of the carts, but the waitress didn't stop. :( When she came back, it was gone. :( One thing I do have to say though is that cake noodles have to be the BEST invention on the planet - I love cake noodles! :) YUM!

Spent the rest of the day and evening studying. It's sad that I don't feel any closer to being ready for the exam than I was a week ago and I was wondering if miraculously one day it'll hit me, a big light bulb will go off inside my head, and I'll think, "I'm ready to take this thing!" :P The promotion is closer to being finalized and it would be SO embarrassing if I didn't pass it and they'd have to demote me. :P YIKES!

In Sydney news - the spot on her side that was shaved when she was sick last year has grown in a bit, but has become more noticeable since she shed her coat last month. Only her undercoat grew back, so now there's a big white spot near her left hind leg. :( Poor dog, I hope it grows back soon, it looks really odd. At least the fur there isn't as coarse as it was when it first grew back, I was afraid last year that she'd have to go around with fiberous fur sticking out by her butt. :P

And lastly, I got my Show People magazine in the mail today! :) Probably the highlights of the magazine were the articles on "Assassins" :), the evolution of the "Wicked" poster, and the one on Patrick Wilson... Everything else I could do without. Oh, nice picture of Ethan Hawke on the back page, though! :)

Back to studying for me - and I need to drink something! Chinese food (and Dim Sum in particular) always makes me SO thirsty!!
