LJ withdrawal!
I've been a very good girl and actually managed to stay away from LJ all day (and night!) yesterday. That's actually quite an accomplishment for me since I've gotten so addicted - sometimes I wonder what I did before I started LJ... I mean, how did I spend my online time? ;)

Anyway, it turned out to be a rather productive day of studying, however this morning I've been feeling so out of the LJ loop. :P Gee, miss a day and SO much happens! :(

Sydney seems to be happy that I've been home recently. She follows me around the house (like a little fuzzy shadow) and snuggles up with me on the couch when I study. :) She looked so bewildered this morning when I left the house to put some mail in the mailbox... I'm not sure she's going to take it very well when I have to leave for my exam on Monday morning. :P I think we're both getting too used to all this togetherness.

On a belated American Idol note - I've given up on the show. :( It obviously isn't about singing ability and only about popularity and I've decided that I have better ways to spend my Tuesday and Wednesday evenings... Yes, I'm a little bitter about Amy... ;) But really, I think it's lost its appeal to me...

And tonight is the opening night of Nick's "1776" at Riverside! :) I've been thinking a bit about it and I've finally been able to put my finger on just what's so special about Nick's shows. You know how a work environment can be absolutely wonderful because the boss is warm and wonderful and the excitement and enthusiasm filters down to the workers? Nick seems to be that warm boss of theatre! :) I think that it's SO apparent when watching his shows that his actors love and adore him, that they TRUST him, and that he makes them love coming to work each night. THAT is probably what makes his shows so special and that's the intangible extra that makes me want to travel 2,500 miles to see something he's directed. :) Hope they have a stunning opening night! :)

Well, back to the books! Hope you all are having a nice day. :)

I think it's great that you and Sydney have a bond. :) Some animal owners don't even care about their pets. :( I'm glad you do. :D

I gave up on AI as well. Amy did not deserve to be voted off. The bottom three was wrong as well. Blame it on the teenagers. :P

That makes me sad when I hear about people who don't care about their pets. :( Sydney is SO a member of our family. :)

AI just frustrates me. :( Why have them sing anyway if the weakest singers get passed through and the ones with nice voices make the bottom three? :P UGH...

Glad to hear something from you. And it's good that Sydney is studying with you. :) Hope you still will find some time to relax. *Hugs*

Thanks Sabine! :) I take little study breaks once in a while (like now) :) Yesterday I told myself that I wouldn't go to LJ at all... I can't believe I have such an addiction! ;)

Hope you're doing well. *HUGS* to you and Lauser! :)

After this past week, I really have lost interest in the show. I didn't think Amy would win... but she definitely didn't deserve to be sent home before some of the others. :P
