My brain is officially mush :P
Unfortunately today wasn't as productive a study day as yesterday. For some reason, I keep feeling distracted all the time. :( I still have the weekend to get my act together before my exam, but am really upset with myself that I didn't get more accomplished today. :(

Sent some birthday wishes out to one of my really good friends. She was my roommate my freshman year in college and my maid of honor at my wedding. She's lived all over the mainland doing residency for med school (Minnesota, LA, Boston, etc.) and she's finally come home to Hawaii to work. The odd thing is that I used to see her more when she was away than I see her now. It's sad, but we seemed to have sort of drifted apart. :( I hate when that happens with a good friend. :(

And I can't believe that Easter is next weekend already! Somehow Easter just isn't the same without the Jaycees... :( Every year we'd go to the Ronald McDonald House and throw them an Easter party with a BIG Easter Egg Hunt in their back yard. I miss things like that about the Jaycees a lot. :( It was SO much fun and seeing the smile on the children's faces was priceless.

Well, since I haven't been as productive as I should've today, I'd better get my butt back to the books. :P Hope you all have a nice evening. :)

Don't be so hard on yourself about the whole studying thing. You'll make up for this weekend. :)

It's sad when good friends drift apart. :( I wonder why that happens?

The Jaycees sounds like it was just simply wonderful. :)

Thanks Carrie. :) I think I'll make up for it this weekend. :) In fact I woke up this morning feeling a bit more refreshed, hopefully I'll be able to get more done today. :)

And the Jaycees was a wonderful time in my life - well, there were wonderful parts of it - and not so wonderful parts. One of the best things (besides helping others) was meeting so many wonderful people - Susan (who's my best friend) and of course, Mark. :) I really miss it in times like this, though.

I only can repeat Careleswhisper "Don't be so hard on yourself". I'm sure that you will do your best.

I'm sorry to hear that you and your friend drifted apart and I agree with you - I also hate it when something like that happens. Hope there will be the possibility to change that.

Lauser and I enjoyed your hugs. :) *Hugs* back to you and Sydney, of course only if she likes it :)

Thanks so much for your support, Sabine! :) You've alwasy been such a great friend to me. :) *HUGS* to you and Lauser. :) And Sydney does enjoy your hugs - very much. :)

Maybe you have given your brain as much info as it can take and it needs time to just absorb it all? Why not take a few hours and have fun and go back to studying? You have been pushing yourself sooooo hard the last several weeks. I am sure you have retained a lot more than you think you have.

I also have grown apart from some friends who were so close to me for a long time. It is sad, but that is what happens in life. =(

I think you're right - I'm probably suffering from brain overload! :P Thank you for always being so encouraging to me about the exam. I know that's all I seem to talk about lately. :P I'll be so glad when Monday is over! :)

Isn't it sad when people grow apart? I don't think it was from the lack of us trying, however. We both had SUCH different life experiences after college - and when we get together, we can barely relate anymore. :(

You're very welcome for my encouragment when it comes to your exam. =)

That is exactly how I am with a few friends... our lives have taken completely different paths and when we talk or get together, it is such a stretch to find things in common... we end up reminicing about the past... and you can only rehash stuff like that so many times. =(

That is sad that you guys were closer when living further apart. Believe it or not, I was like that with my brother. When he lived in MN, we were super close, and now he's back in IN and only an hour away, yet we hardly ever see him!

It's weird but somehow while she was away we made it a point to see each other on her visits home. When she came home to live, we kept meaning to go out, but thought we'd have lots of time to plan it since she'd be here... I think too much time has passed and we're both so different from who we were when we were really close. :(

I have faith you'll do just fine on this exam. :)
