My day started just wonderfully!
I woke up this morning to the most wonderful email! :) ABC will be airing the final episodes of Julie Ann's TV series "Line of Fire" on May 30th in a two hour special! :) I'm so happy because not only does it mean that I'll finally get some closure to a set of characters that I've grown to love, but it'll now be eligible for Emmy consideration. :) Yay, Julie! :)

My co-worker came back to work today and said he was completely blown away by the Clay Aiken concert. :) He was very glad that he went (I think he's ready to out himself as a true "Claymate" now) :) He even brought us some Krispy Kreme donuts as a peace offering for leaving us during the busy tax season. :)

And YAY! So it isn't the HIGHEST grossing broadway show... I was very encouraged to see that "Millie's" capacity lately has been about 81% this week - up definitely from the very dismal 67% of last week. :P I don't think it's in as bad a shape as people seem to think it is, but I'm still saying my nightly "Please don't close" prayers for it. ;)

Tomorrow night we have a party for another one of my co-workers. My boss invited all of us to come over to her house so we can all watch one last "American Idol" together with her before she leaves for the mainland. She was one of the biggest fans of the show so we thought the most fitting send off for her would be an "American Idol" party. :) We'll miss her a lot. :(

Return of the "Claymate"... ha ha ha! Well, glad he enjoyed the show.

He really did - a little too much maybe. ;) I'm afraid he's going to take more vacation to follow the tour now that he's come out of the closet as a true "Claymate" :)

That's too funny!

The word Claymate is just scary!!!

It is a scary word! Even scarier is that my co-worker exemplifies it! ;)

this means I have another month and a half to get watching all those eps of LOF that I have languishing on tape somewhere in my now very messy room. :) btw, not to flaunt or anything, but I'm going to see "Assassins" on April 24th. I'll let you know how it is....I've never even really listened to the score, so I'm going into it knowing next to nothing about the show. It should be fun.

Hahaha! :D I know you'll get to your LOF tapes soon - if nothing else to see Anson all hot and stubbly. ;)

And YAY! You're going to see "Assassins"!! :D That's not flaunting it at all - in fact, I'm so happy you're seeing it so I can live vicariously through you (which I've been saying a lot lately) ;) I saw a concert reading of "Assassins" last year in LA (when Kevin played John Wilkes Booth!) :) and have loved the OCR for years - if you love Sondheim, you'll probably love this. I think it's masterfully written, but that's JMHO. :)

I'm just glad they didn't cancel NYPD Blue. I thought they cut it when I saw Line of Fire. It's a bummer when any show that you enjoy gets the boot though.

I think "Line of Fire" was only a mid-season replacement while NYPD Blue was on hiatus. I think with NYPD Blue's track record there was no way ABC would take it off the air. :)

And as much as I was a fan of LOF, I think my main reason for wanting it to do well was Julie. I have to admit that if I didn't know her, I may not even have seen the show to begin with - but now that I've started watching it, I've gotten really addicted. ;)
